Eligibility:
The VFW is comprised of veterans who have served in overseas conflicts. Membership is open to those
who have received a campaign medal for overseas service, have served 30 consecutive or 60 nonconsecutive
days in Korea, or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay.


Membership in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary is open to women over the age of 16 who are citizens of the
United States and are: Wives, Widows, Mothers, Daughters, Granddaughters, Sisters, Half-sisters,
Foster and step-sisters, or Foster and step-daughters of persons who were or are eligible for membership
in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.


Membership in the VFW Men's Auxiliary is open to men over the age of 16 who are citizens of the
United States and are: Husbands, Widowers, Fathers, Sons, Grandsons, Brothers, Half-brothers, Foster
and step-brothers, or Foster and step-sons of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the
Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
